The students of Ekiti state university woke up to witness the arrest of students alleged to be yahoo boys today 7th of august, as reported earlier, the student community rose to protest the(frequent) harassment of students in the school. The protest however generated into a National
association of nigerian student, (NANS)'s protest, as students from Fuoye and Ado poly also joined in the protest.
As earlier reported, a special advisor on youth to the governor told students protesting that the arrested guys will be released, however, the boys are said to have gotten to the FCT Abuja where they are waiting for prosecution. The student community especially oshekita junction is not considered safe for now as security agents are seen aroumd trying to maintain order and peace in the area.
